Imagine You are a Slice of an Expired Pizza stuck in a Corner of a Refrigerator

I started  screaming…Nooooo, why is he throwing me away? I thought. The man scooped me up and I was happy that he was finally about to taste me but then, he said, “Why does this slice look expired, I better throw it away or else I will get sick”. These words hit my heart like a rock. I had always wondered how lucky I would be if someone ate me.

You see, I was a happy little pizza slice made at ‘The Baker’s SHOP’.  I had 8 brothers and we all were one big pizza. We were made from flour and yeast moulded together. We all always argued whether we would taste good or not. I had confidence that I would sell quickly. As we were placed in the burning oven, we whined as the hot flames hit us. I knew it was worth it and soon we were taken out. There was a dog who asked me if it could eat me. I refused it and told the dog that i am reserved for customers. The day passed in the nick of time and I started to get worried about whether I would be bought or not. I pleaded to gOd for a miracle.

Time went by and it was night. I started staring at myself. Wasn’t I good enough. My perfectly crispy bread, my beautifully runny cheese. I was so perfect. The shop was about to close in 5 minutes. I protested for the clock to go slower. But the clock ignored me. Then, at the last minute, a man came in. I squealed in happiness as he bought me. I was so happy. I rode in his car. When we reached his house, I waited for him to taste me. But he just threw me in the fridge. It was so freezing in the fridge. I asked the milk how long it had been in there. It said 4 days. 4 DAYSSS!! OH MY GOD. I WILL EXPIRE IN 2 DAYS. But three days have passed and now I regret coming here. I am frozen up.  Then on the 4th day, he opened the fridge and his eyes landed on me.

I started  screaming…Nooooo, why is he throwing me away? I thought. The man scooped me up and I was happy that he was finally about to taste me but then, he said, “Why does this slice look expired, I better throw it away or else I will get sick”. These words hit my heart like a rock. He just threw me in the garbage. And my life ended just like that.
